A message from our Founder

The radar inside almost every modern car was designed for a problem that no longer exists.

It was designed to tell you that something is in front of you. The car would beep, you would brake, and the engineer’s job was done. That radar was good enough — until ADAS started making braking and steering decisions on its own. Then the false positives stopped being annoying and started being dangerous.

We started AWEARE because we believe the fastest way to make ADAS safe is not a new sensor. It is better signal processing on the radar that is already there. The 24 GHz hardware shipping in vehicles today is fundamentally good. The waveform it uses is fundamentally constrained. Replace the waveform — without changing the antennas, the RF chain or the ECU interfaces — and you eliminate roughly four out of every five false positives. That is the difference between phantom braking and a real emergency stop.

We chose Liechtenstein for two reasons. First, the FMA is one of the few regulators in Europe that takes deep-tech capital formation seriously and approves it on substance, not on hype. Second, our team has spent enough careers in Silicon Valley to know that the engineering matters more than the zip code. We can build from anywhere, but we wanted to capitalise from somewhere serious.

We are a small startup aiming high. Independent verification of the technology is in. The token offering is approved. The first pilots are running. The next-generation waveform is being engineered now.
